We exist to help people find abundant life in Jesus Christ.
One of the most common questions we ask each other about relationships is "How did you meet?" All relationships start somewhere. MEETING God is the foundation to your abundant life journey. Relationships strengthen and grow through continued time together. MEETING with God in worship, time spent in the Word, enjoying His presence in creation, or in prayer help you take the next steps.
Psalm 100, 1 Corinthians 13:12, Luke 15, John 3:16, Mark 1:35, John 8:31-32
Did you know that God wants to reveal Himself to you? He longs to speak for Himself to you about who He is and who you are in Him. Building on a foundational journey through the Bible and continued MEETING with God and others along this journey, you will DISCOVER that you are invited to a safe, authentic, dynamic relationship where you can be fully known and fully loved by a personal, trustworthy, loving Father.
Luke 4:18-19, Isaiah 61:1-2, Galatians 5:1a, 2 Corinthians 12:9, 2 Corinthians 3:16-18
The more we live in daily relationship with God, the more we begin to look like Him. We BECOME more and more like Jesus. Because Jesus' ways are the best ways, our individual lives will benefit. But even more importantly, people around you will benefit and begin to see changes in you that cause them to want to know what is happening in your life.
Galatians 2:20, Hebrews 5:14, Luke 2:52, Philippians 1:6, Proverbs 9:9, Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13
With all this incredible abundant life taking place, it will be nearly impossible to keep it all to yourself. Whether it is loving a neighbor that leads to conversations about who it is that you have been Meeting with, or activating gifts/skills inside of a team at illuminate church, you are made to LEAD others to join the same journey you have been taking.
Romans 10:14-15, Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:16-20, 1 Peter 2:9, Matthew 5:16, 1 Peter 2:12, Romans 12:3-8
Beliefs
We believe that salvation is God’s gift received by faith on the part of the believer. Our faith is in Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection which conquered sin and death for all time. It is salvation that reunites us with the heart of the Father. To be clear – this salvation is a gift that cannot be earned or bought.
